Competitive Pay Based on competitive market data, Astrotech extends to its employees salaries that are commensurate with industry standards, skill discipline, and job level. Additionally, pay increases are determined annually by several factors, assuring that high performance is consistently rewarded.
Extensive Health Care Coverage Astrotech pays a high percentage of medical, dental, and vision costs for full-time employees (working a minimum of 30 hours a week) and their families, effective on the first day of employment. The Company recently added a High Deductible Health Plan/Health Savings Account (HDHP/HSA) option to the existing Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) offering.
Innovative Wellness Works Program As a valuable supplement to our health care plan, Astrotech created the Wellness Works program for employees and their families. Wellness Works provides a variety of personalized and interactive tools to promote health and fitness among the workforce. Employees who participate enjoy incentive rewards such as cash payouts for annual health checkups and credits toward health care premiums.
Retirement Plan Astrotech offers a 401(k) Employee Savings Plan which is the combination of a savings plan, tax deferment plan and a retirement plan. Team members from all locations are eligible to actively participate on the first of the month following the month in which they are hired. To further supplement retirement planning, Astrotech matches a portion of employee contributions.
Income Protection Plans To help employees protect themselves and their families in the event of sudden illness, injury, or death, Astrotech offers various life insurance options and both short and long term disability pay for employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week.
Paid Leave Balancing professional and personal needs is a key Astrotech value and one that the company backs with a generous paid leave program for qualifying employees. Company-provided paid leave days include vacation, holiday, sick, bereavement, jury duty, and military leave.
